Earth is the third planet in the Sol-System. It is home to approximately 13.8 billion beings, the vast majority of them being human.

Politics

In 2218, the government has been transformed into the new United Nations, a federal democratic government based in Zürich. While the United Nations manage interplanetary relations, interplanetary travel and similar subjects, most nations retain a descent amount of self-government power.

Major Cities

Which cities count as major is defined by their population and, more importantly, their ability to launch large mounts of space-ships. Only cities that feature a large spaceport can be considered major. Those cities on Earth are: Zürich, London, Berlin, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Beijing, Delhi, Mexico City, Moscow and Sydney.
