Gungnir

When Loki, God of Mischief, cut off the golden hair of Sif, Goddess of Wheat, Thór, God of Thunder and Sif's husband was furious and threatened to break every bone in his body. Loki managed to avoid the Thunder God's wrath when he promised to give Sif new locks of golden hair from the Dvergr. Convinced, Thor allowed him to go to the Dvergr home of Niðavellir where he sought out the Sons of Ivaldi, and he convinced them to fashion new and lovelier golden hair for Sif. Succeeding in his quest, Loki however was able to trick the Sons of Ivaldi into making more treasured items, which also included Gungnir. The spear is well-balanced and could hit any target without missing its mark. Loki, having gotten Gungnir from the Sons of Ivaldi, proceeded to give it to his blood brother Óðinn, God of Knowledge as a gift.
