The hoppy road Consortium

Structure

The head of the consortium is composed of one representative of each brewing company affiliated with the consortium, plus one executive in charge of the overlook of the consortium spendings and profit, which has no direct involvement with any of the breweries. If a vote resumes in a draw, the neutral executive counts as the tie-breaker. All members of the decision table have the same value for their votes.   Under those are regular organisational ranks such as spokeperson, secretary, and other regular roles for a main quarter.

Culture

The consortium was created after a meeting with 4 original brewers in the region of (location). All of them were seeing the arrival of large outside corporations importing their goods as a difficult business hazard, since those were backed with heavy amounts of ressources to buy preferential selling spots, exclusives and other tactics. In order to keep their mutual businesses afloat and offer a strong local competitor to the mega breweries coming to take a part of the cake, they decided to create a consortium which goal would be to propose a varied amount of microbrews liked by the populace, and a stronger buying power to rival with the new megabreweries. By acting as one, the goal was for each involved microbrew to have more power and presence in order to keep interest in local buyings. By centralising their production for some of their most popular brews and being a part of the consortium, the affiliates would benefit of a greater influence and safer profits. This would also remain a cultural benefit for their region, which would help having local products becoming more present, offering more jobs, and make the region shine internationally.
