Kaiser Coronation
History
During Katharina Von Skellig's second day of the coronation, she decided on her own volition to forgo the spy proxy and invisibility ritual and contact the commonfolk themselves. Some viewed it as a bad choice, since most would hide their true feelings to them and make the goal less clear, or even jeopardize her safety, but in general, this gave Katharina a populatity raise for her desire to indulge with the simplest of their subjects. She however did not removed the ritual itself, and thus future Kaisers could still follow this law if they deem preferable.
Execution
The first day of the celebration is usually a day where the newly to-be Kaiser will meet all the high noble houses leader, nobles and diplomatic envoys in a feast at the castle.
The second day, known as the 'walk of the land', is a unique one, for as the soon-to-be Kaiser is gifted with a powerful enchantment which hides them for any people but a select few of their closest guards, which are able to see them. The king is also annointed a personnal spy from which they can talk to telepathically with the help of the ritual.
In this guise, they roam the festivities of the common folks in the streets of the city, and are expect to take a deep attention to the folk's talk , which can be expectations, current issues in the kingdom, and other topics. This is a way for the Houses to let the Kaiser know firsthand of the things that are actively affecting their kingdom, for good or bad, and thus being able to understand the common man's challenges, and try to act on their benefit.
The third event includes the coronation at the end of the public ceremony.
