Snezhinka

The Snezhinka are a race of arctic foxes that have endless amounts of curiousity. Because of this, they hold no single nation but can instead be found in all of the nations across the world, studying anything from the natural order of life to the society they are in to magical wonders. They have been able to accomplish such wide spread feats only because of their friendliness and charm, helping convince other races to let them live peacefully with them. In return, the Snezhinka are very open with their findings.

Snezhinka

The Snezhinka are friendly and curious creatures. They are wont to travel far and discover what might be new around the corner. Their friendlessness means they are often accepted wherever they go and others are often happy to see them.

race features:
Darkvision: You have keen senses, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Animal Friendship: You can convince a beast or animal, or a room of them, that you are a cool fox. Choose a beast or animal, or a room of them, that you can see within 30 feet. They must see and hear you. Each target must save on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). If they fail, they think you are a cool fox. They will be highly suggestable to try and impress you for the next little bit or until you do something really dumb. If you fail, they know the party has gone elsewhere.   Curiosity: When you create your character, pick 2 things that you are curious about. This could be anything from juicy gossip about a celebrity to magic items to the latest, greatest brew. You have the innate ability to always know when something nearby will trigger your curiosity. This will manifest itself as a faint tingling of one of your senses (eg, a buzz in your ears, an aroma that you can’t quite place). When your senses tingle, you must go and satisfy your curiosity. If you do not, you have disadvantage on all rolls not related to your curiosity until your next long rest or until the next time your curiosity buzzes.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The normal food supply of the Snezhinka is local small game, insects, berries, vegetables and staples. They will eat just about anything and can survive off of almost anything. This has allowed them to spread out so well across the continent as there is always a good food supply for them no matter where they go.
