Albreck Fort
This military fort was constructed by the town in the year 1470 during the War of the Regions. In the year 1952, it was converted into a museum and reenactment center. Often school groups will come on tours to see what life was like in the town when the fort was constructed.
Defenses
There is a 20 foot stone wall that is erected around the fort. A winding river encompasses the fort and creates a naturalĀ barrier.
Tourism
Folks from all over come to see the fort because it is one of the last standing forts in the region. The Town Council has restored it for the most part and attempts to keep it historically accurate.
