The SturmSchloss

The Sturmschloss is a fantastically spired mountain castle, topped with ornate lightning rods, and one of the masterworks of famed architect Heinrich Gustal. Considered a national treasure by Volinskians, the Sturmschloss towers over the city of Shkue and is the base of operations and governance for the mysterious Duchesses of Shkue.
Storms often rage around the lightning topped towers, giving this castle a particularly dramatic and imposing bearing. It is rumored by many that the lightning rods are helping to generate some sort of power for experiments deep within the walls of the Sturmschloss, but (as is their way) the Duchesses have remained silent on this speculation.
