Jasper Covenant

The Jasper Covenant is an order of knights, mages, and clerics dedicated to protecting the realms of civilized folk from the threat of the Ymmari Empire. Formed during The Grand Uprising, their order played a central role in overthrowing Ymmari rule and freeing both East and West Ymmaria.
As things became more desperate and tensions against the Ymmari intensified during the Clash of Scions, the Jasper Covenant was instrumental in enacting the Purge Draconis; perpetrating genocidal acts against the remaining Ymmarions.
The Covenant has largely been dormant for many centuries but recently has become more active, having been seen operating in the kingdom of Oryus. They are recognizable by the cloaks they wear; two vertical white stripes flanking a crimson red stripe.
There are various ranks within the Covenant, the topmost recognized with the honorific "The Jasper Lion."  The current Jasper Lion is Rowen Malthus.
