Botho Crawdington
Botho Crawdington ran Crawdington's Orphange in Rooktown for many years until a great fire completely consumed the orphanage and (it is assumed) Botho with it.
Botho had no living family in The Donneshire Hills and few, if any friends when he died. This is largely due to his sour demeanor and penchant for unnecessary cruelty. All of the half elf and halfling orphans who spent time at Crawdington's were glad to see the fiery disaster strike, and many bear permanent mental and physical scars of the traumas inflicted upon them while they were children.
In the wake of his death many rumors persist, including that Botho stole from his young charges, that Botho didn't perish in the fire, and even some that surmise that Botho set the fire himself and is now living a life of leisure somewhere where he can't be pursued by questions or allegations.
