Engle

Engle is part of the Sorendenese Empire. It has only existed for about one hundred years.   It is ruled by the Rafael family; the current king being Oran Maxwell Rafael III.

Geography

The country of Engle lies to the north of the River Lyr, which separates it from the dry plains to the south.   The mountains that border its western side advance to the coast at its northernmost border, which means that Engle has a much wetter climate than the plains to the south and therefore more arable.

Flora & Fauna

Much of Engle is covered by woodlands and forests. It has been inhabited by various races of humans for thousands of years, but a large part of Engle is still wilderness.

Natural Resources

The main resources of Engle are trees from the southern forests and minerals from the western mountains. A large part of these resources are traded south to Sorenden by ship.
