Scholar's Retreat

An inn located close to the School of Occult Studies where many visitors to the School stay. It is also a common drinking places for many of the professionals who have establishments in the area and students and masters of the School.
The Retreat is a relatively quiet drinking house suitable for the scholarly type. The decor of the tap room is a good demonstration of this as its wall decorations includes such things as finely calligraphed poems set in frames and a painting of a hearth under a sheet of expensive, high-quality glass where the flames in the fireplace actually glimmer and move like real flames.
This tavern is run by a husband and wife team, both alumni of the School of Occult Studies: Lucinda and Heracles Damass.
