Patrick Watson is a student of archaeology at the Warsaw Academy for Magical Arts. He is currently in his third year of Bachelor Studies and is preparing a thesis about enchanting craft in the Roman Empire.

Patrick was born and raised in England. Despite being a magic-user his dad works at a big international corporation. Patrick's mom doesn't work. Instead, she takes care of the house and the children. Patrick has a younger sister.
Patrick has always been fascinated by history and what was left by the people who lived back then. When he was nearing the time to choose a university, he decided to study archaeology. His parents were telling him to choose one of the British universities. However, Patrick chose the Warsaw Academy for Magical Arts in Poland. He heard that its archaeology department was one of the best when it came to the archaeology of magic.

His parents gave him some money for the start of his life in Warsaw, but he had to find a job. He found one as a waiter, a typical job for a university student. It didn't give him a lot of money, but it was enough to live. Most importantly the work hours fit perfectly with his academic schedule.
In the future, Patrick dreams of working at the university as a scientist and a lecturer.

Patrick is a hardworking person who sees everything he starts to an end. His teachers, both in school in England and at WAMA, praise his intellect and quick thinking.
Patrick also has a good sense of humour and is an empathetic person.

Contacts & Relations
Patrick quickly made friends in Warsaw. Among them are both Polish students and those of different nationalities. Somewhen in 2018 he also got a girlfriend. Her name is Ania, is Polish and the same as Patrick studies archaeology.
Family Ties
Despite being far from his family Patrick tries to keep in close contact with them. For example, he regularly travels to England. One of the main times he does that is Christmas.
Hobbies & Pets
Patrick's biggest hobby is reading about history, but it isn't the only thing he does in his free time. During his first year of studies, he got interested in use of new technologies in archaeology. He took a few of the courses the department was offering in that field and also was able to convince his parents to send him some money for a course in 3D graphics. Now, he spents some of his free time practicing his 3D design skills as well as drawing.
Patrick comes out as someone who I get to meet at a party, i.e. some essential but surface information. But as it piqued my interest, I wanna know more... :> He has a younger sister, which would make him the big brother figure. How big is the age difference there? Is it more like 2-6 years or 10-15? Siblings can be helpful or pesky, especially if their characters differ. You mention that he chose WAMA over a British university and that he likes history and archaeology. What was the special thing in the curriculum or the equipment, maybe staff that weighed over his choice?
Thank you for the comment. Yes, I need to think of why the department of archaeology at WAMA is the best. As to the sister, I didn't really think about her, but I imagined an age difference more like 2-6 years
