Physical & Chemical Properties

Salt has an afinity for water and will both attract it and then disolve in it unless kept dry.

While Salt forms Crystals, these Crystals may not be used for Spells. It has no ability to retain Magic.

History & Usage

Refinement

Salt can be manufactured by taking Sea-Water and Boiling it until all that is left is the Salt. Alternatively, the Sea-Water can be left to evaporate from ponds created specifically for this purpose.

n.b. In some places, Salt can be found as a Rock and mined directly.
