Ximia: Quest 1

Save Ximia from whatever mischief she has gotten herself into.

Plot points/Scenes

The travellers found out about a missing halfling girl. They learned that she had some magical powers. They followed a map she made which led them to a cave in the woods. In the cave, they discovered Ximia summoning a demon. They distracted the demon and were able to bring Ximia back to town, but not before they also encountered Isaac the vampire.

Components

Goals

The companions - Orome, Caiphyra, and Teddy - had simple goals. They were asked to find Ximia and they agreed because they were trying to be helpers. Caiphyra might have had more noble goals as she had some connection to the town. Orome was just naturally curious and Teddy, in general, is up for mischief.

Hooks

The mountain pass was experiencing more frequent large animal attacks. It was unusual and felt like the animals were being driven that way. It made maintaining and traveling the pass much harder. The townspeople depending on the mountain travel for goods as well as income from travelers. The people in the woods noticed that there were also more undead creatures wandering the woods.

Stakes

If the companions did not rescue Ximia, it was likely that something bad would happen to her. Additionally, more animals would attack the town. An influx of undead creatures was also bad for all.
