Neuronet

Neuronet is a nanotechnology research company that was bought by Omicron Incorporated. They pioneered the development of nanomachines that would lead to the creation of Nanotypes.

Nanotypes

After hiring Ellie Westfall for her research in nanobots, Neuronet placed the majority of their research and manpower into Project Nanotide and the development of the Phase 1 Nanotypes. It led to mixed results as only a few of their human subject reacted positively to the nanomachines.
Phase 2 development of the Nanotypes became a success after the creation of Amedea and Theophilia, allowing Neuronet to be granted additional funding to continue their work.

Dissolution

After the break out of the phase 1 and 2 Nanotypes, Neuronet was effectively dismantled. Research, equipment and surviving that was saved from destruction by Omicron Incorporated was moved over to Thetatron to be worked on, leading to the success of the Phase 3 Nanotypes.
