Maverick Nervan (a.k.a. Mav)

Maverick is a mercenary for hire and works with Kyra Blanche, who he had left Beldua with. He is the youngest child of Bren and Solana, being the brother of Cipher.
Maverick is aware that he's a Human/Nanotype Hybrid, having been told by his father, though he didn't exactly understand what that meant until he met Kyra.

Physical Description

Apparel & Accessories

Maverick is usually seen wearing a black and grey mercenary gear, most of which he's scavenged or just stolen during jobs he's taken. He also wears a set of blue goggles which belonged to his mother. Maverick also has a set of green-plated armour that belonged to his father, which is currently stored on Kyra's ship.

Maverick passed through school with average grades and starting taking up various jobs when he was old enough to help Kyra improve her ship. When he left Beldua, he and Kyra took on various jobs with which eventually developed into more dangerous mercenary work.

• Fearless - Maverick is not deterred by situations that may be dangerous. If anything he's usually more persistent. (though he knows when to back down...usually)
• Efficent - Maverick is very good at coming up with plans on short notice and taking shortcuts.

• Desensitised - Maverick is numb to a lot of things, which causes him to look for things that give him a thrill.
• Impulsive - Maverick is very quick to jump on ideas or plans without fully thinking them through.

Likes & Dislikes

Likes

• Exploring - Maverick developed an interest in going out and exploring after being nudged to go outside for once by Solana. This extended to his interest in seeing new places while in space.
• Video Games - Maverick enjoys playing bullet hell and side shooter games. While he is decent at higher difficulty levels, surprisingly he prefers to play on easy mode.

Dislikes

• Cheapskates - Maverick gets extremely irritated when he thinks someone is trying to rip him off, or undercut his prices, which has led to fights quite a few times.
• Idleness - Maverick has a large aversion to having nothing to do as he gets bored extremely easily which can throw off his whole day. The more bored he is, the more likely he'll do riskier things.

Family Ties

• Bren Nervan - Maverick has a good relationship with his father, being able to talk to him the easiest about difficult subjects.
• Solana - Maverick is a bit of a mummy's boy, though the two of them got into disagreements a lot.
• Cipher Nervan - Maverick gets along okay with Cipher, but also thinks she's too weird.
• Helia Nervan - Maverick likes Helia a lot, and was unaware that she was a robot until he was older.

Other Relationships

• Kyra Blanche - Maverick has a strong relationship with Kyra, even though they don't always see eye-to-eye. They are mostly inseparable since meeting as children and Maverick is usually comforted when she's around.
• Elysia - Maverick is very fond of Elysia and gets along with her well, finding her to be a good voice of reason when things get bad.
