Galactic Security Institution is an organisation with the goal of keeping the galaxy safe, with the use of force if they need to. It is made up of like-minded individuals that wanted to bring change, but didn't necessarily follow the code of the Galactic Union.
They were the first to report definite evidence and proof of U'krhith's entrance into the galaxy, though by then it was too late.

Reputation

While the Galactic Security Institution has a more intimidating reputation, they are known to be quicker to respond to requests for aid.
