Sentinel Plateau
The Sentinel Plateau is a large plain which sits at the furthest Western tip of the continent. The plateau is the largest region on the continent but contains very little as the flat terrain allows very little to grow and flourish. Throughout the ages the Sentinel Plateau has been the main area of settlement for a variety of races due to the large open space. Because of this same fact, most of the civilizations are around the periphery of the plain so as to be able to acquire food from the forest or other areas.
This large plain is vast and open letting the wind carry for miles around with no obstacles. It is also possible to see for great distances making it possible to see to the far East the Low Mountains despite them being several days travel away.

Geography
The entire region is nearly completely flat with only a variation of height of a couple feet across the entire width. It is plain in both senses of the word, it is flat and regular and very plain
Fauna & Flora
Tall and short grasses cover the plains. The majority of the region is covered with a short wild grass that grows a faint yellow green giving the plains the look as though they are dying. Here and there you can come across large patches of a tall grass standing about 4 feet tall. Few other plants grow throughout the plains though other plants can be found on occasion.
The plains are called home to very few creatures except for a few. Small packs of hyenas can be found roaming across the plains in search of anything else which was unfortunate enough to wander too far across the plains. The other most common creature would be the wild boars which roam long distances across the plain living on the patches of tall grass. Though primarily vegetarian the boars are known to kill and eat other creatures that wander into their territory.
