Feline
Felines are carnivorous mammals with lithe, flexible bodies, retractible claws, and a wide variety of fur patterns. They can be found all over the known world, and are frequently apex predators in their environments.
Felines are quadrupeds with long, flexible bodies, muscular limbs, and retractible claws. Their eyes are large and forward-facing, their ears mobile and scoop-shaped, and their tongue is covered in raspy barbs. The skull is shorter and rounder that that of canines, and their teeth are sharp and well-suited for tearing flesh, including long, pointed eyeteeth. A feline's tail tends to be long and flexible, and their whiskers are long and highly sensitive, both traits that allow them to keep their balance when climbing and navigating narrow paths.
Felines have excellent hearing and eyesight, and most are able to see in low-light or near pitch-dark conditions. Their whiskers allow them to navigate through narrow passages, and their keen sense of smell allows them to distinguish food, allies, and enemies alike.
