satyr
Basic Information
Anatomy
From the waist up, a satyr resembles a muscular and handsome humanoid male, but with a pair of ram's horns curling from his head. From the waist down, a satyr has the furry legs and tail of a goat, complete with hooves.
Genetics and Reproduction
Because satyrs are entirely male, they must mate with humanoid females in order to reproduce. The gestational period is normal for the mother's species, and there may be few or no signs of the child's nature until it is born.
Ecology and Habitats
Satyrs thrive in temperate forests, far from civilization, using their pipes to entertain their fellow fey and occasionally to lure in travelers. They typically revel in the raw wilderness, only taking what they need to survive and usually sleeping on large patches of soft grass under the stars.
