Olga Gostomyslovna

Olga is the Princess Dowager of Ladan'. She is the widow of the old prince, Sviatoslav Igorevich, and the mother of the incumbent prince, Vladimir Sviatoslavovich and Anastasiya Sviatoslavovna , his sister. She is therefore the mother-in-law of Rurik Halfdansson.

She appears to be in charge of running the princely household, at least while the Prince is away (at war). She was approached by Hrefna, who sought information about the goings on of the kremlin. Olga, concerned about her daughter, left alone after the death of her son, wanted Hrefna and her companions to bring Anastasiya back to Ladan' for as long as her husband remained at war. Hrefna convinced her to send a childhood friend back to Bychii Brod , to provide Anastasiya support, instead, for the time being.
