War of Cibri

Nobody exactly knows why this incident has started. It led to starvation, a split of society and a small civil war. It started in the Canteen of Lucem. Some cooks, probably from different departments, seemed to start off with a dispute over either some choice of materials, techniques or who's in the more important department. I guess it was a mix of all these factors that led to the outburst, Cibrus have quite some temperament, you can feel it when you enter a big kitchen. Most people only witnessed that a verbal conflict grew, the kitchen became louder and louder and packs of Cibri began to form insulting one another. It happened in just a few minutes until they began to arm themselves with cooking utensils throwing them at others and fighting one another with them. When the people noticed some tried to cool down the situation, the head of kitchen and the head of the guild screaming over the chaos to stop. It had no use and quickly more people got dragged into the fight. This resulted in more people, military versatile too, joining sides, letting the conflict grow like a bushfire.
It is an really unusual experiance for us Lucemi but the different parties evolving, being angry about presumed injustice, hardened their fronts against one another. They settled themselves in parts of the canteen and surrounding complexes starting small fights in the streets again and again. This resulted in several weeks of complete madness in Lucem. Nobody was able to really to identify the root of the problem, so it was hard to tackle. In addition nobody really knew who belonged to which side. The The Council's Guild and The Council had a hard time to divert the conflict and calm down the sides in this pure chaos while the nourishing heart of the city stayed still. If it weren't such a dangerous situation in which our main city nearly would've fallen, some Lucemi died in due to starvation or in the fights, various side effects due to the Cibtas being responsible for the distribution of nutrition and also smaller fights starting in other settlements over this you could laugh out loud, but it really was a brain-breaking difficult situation.
