Typhos
Born from the aftermath of The Cataclysm, an event etched into the depths of collective memory, Typhos emerged as one of the oldest recorded Remnants to ever haunt the ocean's expanse. Its name became synonymous with terror, a legend woven into the very fabric of Eostrea folklore.
With a lineage traceable to the victims of The Cataclysm, Typhos' existence was a dark tapestry of hunger and predation. For centuries, this ancient behemoth roamed the seas, hunting the Aquae and other magical ocean lifeforms. Weighing over 10 tons and measuring an awe-inspiring 85 feet from snout to tail, Typhos was a colossal menace. Its body, adorned with razor-sharp teeth, a spiked tail, and rubbery black skin, exuded an aura of menace that permeated the waters around it.
The presence of Typhos wrought havoc, plunging both aquatic and terrestrial communities into a perpetual state of dread. For generations, the Aquae of Oceanus lived under the constant threat of Typhos' relentless onslaughts. Their lives were a delicate dance between survival and fear.
Beyond the immediate reach of Oceanus, Typhos' terror rippled through the Pelagia Sea like a seismic wave. Other magical sea creatures, once abundant and diverse, cowered in the face of this monstrous threat. The impact of Typhos reverberated across the entire ecosystem, stunting the natural development of the surrounding waters and its myriad lifeforms.
In the face of Typhos' terror, the Aquae and the people of Oceanus stood resilient, their lives interwoven with a legacy of struggle and survival. Typhos was killed by Aquae soldiers whose names are forever etched into Oceanus’s history.
