Eostrea houses the five land-based nations of Primus, Genetheos, Estheos, Kalaido, and Novaria. Taking up just over a third of the continent on the western side, Primus leads the nations in not only landmass and population but also strength and diversity of magic. At the northern tip of Eostrea, surrounded by Primus’s borders and the northern ocean, rests the recently formed nation of Novaria, known and revered for its technological innovations. The northeastern side of the continent serves as the home of the second oldest nation, Genetheos. The southern half of Eostrea is divided between Kalaido and Estheos, on the southwestern and southeastern sides respectively. Finally, just beneath the surface of the coast of Estheos lies the ocean-bound nation of Oceanus, deep underwater and only recently encountered. Once thought to be a myth, the discovery of Oceanus broke the decades of tenuous peace and stability following the formation of Novaria and has thrown Eostrea into a new wave of technological and magical innovation. From the magical mastery of Primus to the technological advancements made almost daily by Novaria, the arrival of Oceanus has made a splash that can be felt throughout every corner of Eostrea as the pace of life in each and every nation speeds up. The arrival of Oceanus has also thrown the political landscape of Eostrea’s countries into disarray, as Primus's undisputed primacy is now questioned for the second time in recent memory after Novaria’s founding. Tensions between Genetheos and Estheos rise while the other nations struggle to find their place in the new world order.
