The AM

Describe a famous criminal organization and the unlawful acts they commit in your world.

The Anti-Magi rebel group, or The AM as they are known, is a faction in Skarton who have protested against any and all usage of Magic in Lowgard. They were a peaceful protesting group until the development of the Magline.

Slogan

The slogan of the Anti-Magi group is "I AM" It is meant to symbolize how humans of Lowgard can exist without the usage of magic, since any human who wants to use it needs some type of device to do so.

Recruitment

The AM recruits people by preying on those who have been damaged or wronged by magic whether it be from intentional wrong-doing or accidents. Someone must be invited to join The AM. Once the Magline began its development, The AM stopped its open recruitment as scrutiny from the Queen and her Court. Most current members of The AM are human.

Goals

The AM hopes to strengthen the people of Lowgard by forcing them to do tasks without magic. Those who need the aid of magic to live are considered week to The AM and should be removed mercifully to cull the herd.
One of their other goals is to remove the Corruption that has been created from magic. They actively worry about the Corruption spreading throughout the land, especially on the edge of Skarton, and believe it's tied to what humans are doing with magic although they cannot prove it.

Criminal Activity

Once the Magline started its development, The AM began strategically planning attacks on supply lines for the project. Warehouses were bombed, and laborers were bribed or harassed out of their jobs. Once the Guard began investigating these instances, The AM spread further out, moving along the projected route of the Magline. They fear the Magline will make the people of Lowgard weak and forget the struggle of life before.

Leader

The leader for The AM has yet to be identified although they go by the name of Karlo. There is currently a reward out by the Queen for any information on Karlo and their network.
