Magic

Magic is life. It exists within all things, naturally, to varying levels. It is a type of energy source that's able to be both channeled and contained. It can be observed if you are a Giant. If you are a human, it can be observed with the help of equipment.

Cost of Magic

Using magic is exhaustive and can require a variety of devices to be used, depending on the type of creature attempting to use magic.

Magic usage by Races

Giants Giants were the first users of Magic, discovering unique abilities among their people. They created multiple Schools of Magic to help guide their people through its usage and control.
Humans Humans have an intuitive sense of magic, and this is why after The Giants War, they developed devices to observe and measure magic. Most humans are not able to channel the small amount of magic within them to be used regularly. They are aware that magic exists, but a large majority of them believe that they need technology to use or control magic in any capacity.
Elves Elves are more in tune with magic and use it in their every day lives more unconsciously than not. Each of these races' have their own pool of magic that is tied to their home regions.
Other Races Dwarves and Trolls have little to no magic within their beings. They can observe magic being done, and that is it.

Metaphysical, Arcane
