Giants and humans had a lasting relationship until humans began abusing magic. Natural users of magic, Giants withdrew from the humans to their own realm. Humans gathered the remaining pieces of magic, using them in various devices. This forced usage of magic caused corruption to spill out across the land.
One person, though, might be key to saving the kingdom and returning magic to its proper state though she does not know how or why.
