The fire that always burns

Your soul charm weighs on your chest as you breathe in and out. Your scaled hand shakes as you reach behind you to check once again for your torches. Your claw slightly snags on the sack that carries fifty full sacks. "This will be worth it," You murmur to yourself, "The money will be worth it." You breathe in again as you reach back down to grip your riding feris soft fur. You remember how many people who died here. The town that was lost. You wonder why it occurred. Odd things occur everywhere, but why this? Why is it here? It doesn't matter to you though, you are only here for the job. The bright orange flaming column appears on the edge of your vision as you turn the final corner. You grip a torch in your hand, and steal your nerves.

Manifestation

This fire began to spread in Andria. It killed animals and destroyed many things. It spread widely. It, however, stopped when it was around a mile in diameter. It is now a perfect circle of huge flames. The flames glow pure red and is immensely hot. It burns intensely. No one knows why it was created, or even how, but it destroyed much when it was created. It destroyed a full town, and everyone in it.

Localization

This is localized to an area in southwestern Andria. When it was created, it started as a blazing wildfire that eradicated everything within it. It spread until it reached a one mile radius circle. It spreads up almost ten feet in the air, and burns regardless of anything done to stop it. This occurred in 676AL, when consciousness was rampant and the creatures in this continent were already immensely magical. They, obviously, tried to put it out in many ways, but all of them failed. Many presume it was made here to kill a man who was destined to destroy, who lived there. However, there is almost no evidence to back this up.

This fire is highly coveted in certain places. This is because the fire does not stop burning for quite a long time. After being removed from the circle the fire burns for one week before going out. In this period, it will not be able to be destroyed. After one week, it will go out.

Some more extremist people decided to worship the flames, as the fact it can't be put makes it very intriguing. The most extreme of these even burn themselves with the fire intentionally.
