Southern Sol Expanse

The Southern Sol Expanse is a region of space located to the galactic south-west of Sol. It borders Prosperity to the north, the Neutral Zone to the west, Avartina to the south, and the Oxokulumab Federation to the east. It has ties to the United Nations of Sol-Aligned Systems, being a growing colonial region, with four occupied systems. When Sol's attention was focused on the Serajji Conflict, much of the region suffered decline, most notably the Levara System, which fell into civil war in 2295, which continues to the modern day. The Parslevian Struggle has attracted the attention of Sol, the Amarani Confederation, and the Oxokulumab Federation, with each side supporting various factions at play.

Baldulys

Baldulys is a B-type star, with one planet, Cuilida. Cuilida is a superearth with a dusty, inhospitable atmosphere. It is a karst world, with large caves and exposed crevasses, and it is deep under this surface that the Cuilida Mining Colony lies. The planet is home to large amounts of xenoarcheological remains, with the planet speculated to be some sort of dumping ground for an ancient spacefaring race.

Van Maanen's Star

Van Maanen's Star is an ancient White Dwarf, the closest of its kind to Sol. It is home to a large number of scientific outposts and stations, with a small colonial holding in the form of an orbital habitat, named Kristigel.

B. Canum Venaticorum (Chara)

B. Canum Venaticorum, better known as Chara by it's residents, it contains one occupied planet: Arbroath. It is a small, craggy, alpine world with a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. It is home to a small number of Sol colonists, many of whom arrived here prior to the Serajji Conflict, and have since felt abandoned by their parent.

Levara

Levara is a G-Type star system located deep within the Southern Sol Expanse. It has one occupied system, Parslevia, which has been suffering the brutal and longstanding Parslevian Struggle that broke out during the Serajji Conflict, leading to widespread devastation and unrest continuing to the modern day.
