Kirdana

Kirdana is a star system located deep within the Roanoke Zone. It lies close to the border of space that humans have taken to calling the Hydra Sector.  Kirdana is a small, M-Type star, well over 60 light years from Earth, and one of the furthest colonised systems known to Humanity.  It is an independent system, and Sol has made no attempts to claim it as their own. 
Kirdana has four planets, none of them habitable. However, this hasn't stopped people from trying, and the occasional report of a planetary base is brought back to Sol.  The most important place in the system is Point Pleasant, a minor spaceport that is considered the final resting stop on the route into the Hydra. Those who return to the port always have tall and ridiculous tales to spin of that strange region to the galactic south.
