Xingshan Dong

Dong Xingshan is a Baohati politician, and the first and current Premier of the Baohat Free State.
Dong was born on the planet Jingzhao in 2267. Serving as the Baohat representative to the East Roanoke Confederation, he was active in the campaign for Baohati independence, and oversaw their exit from the ERC. In response, he was elected the first Premier of the new Baohat government in 2299, and has spent the past 11 years effectively building the government from the ground up. It is a difficult task, one that has driven Xingshan to the brink of breakdowns several times. However, the people of Baohat have tremendous respect for the man who has fought for their rights to self-determination, even if he fails.
