Baohati

The Baohati are an ethnic group that originates from within the Roanoke Zone, in the region today known as the Baohat Free State. They speak Baohati, which is considered to be a very distinct offshoot of old Sinitic. The first settlers to Baohat spoke a dialect of Mandarin that over the years of separation and isolation, has evolved to become something different to modern Sinitic languages.
This best sums up the Baohati people. They have traditions and culture that is similar to their ancient counterparts, but divergent enough to be separate from their modern cousins.
