Once human children, they were kidnapped by Giants and exposed to powerful Giant magic throughout their youth, causing them to grow far beyond human stature. Their skin is marked with the arcane runes of the Giants, symbols of their transformation and the mystical power that courses through them.
The Faithful and the Fallen
The fate of these children hinges on their faith. Those who retain their human roots—their faith in the Divine—emerge as Goliaths. They become tall, powerful beings with a deep connection to both humanity and the ancient magics of the Giants. However, children who lose their faith, succumbing to the faithlessness of their captors, continue to grow, fully transforming into Giants themselves, forsaking their human origins.
Nomadic Brotherhood
Goliath tribes are nomadic, roaming the wilderness in search of new challenges and lands to explore. Though they tend to live on the fringes of civilization, they are often welcomed into human cities for their strength, wisdom, and the deep sense of camaraderie they bring. Goliaths hold fellowship above all else, valuing the bonds between friends and family.
