The Island Splitter [Old]
The elder stoked the fire with his tail as the younglings entered the tent. When all were sitting around the fire it was time to teach them the first legend. The oldest tale that their people know. "Young ones, I am sure you have heard of Kaztora but do you know the full story? The story of two siblings, a giant, and the axe that united all the tribes for the only time in history?" The young ones looked upon the elder, some stoically ready to hear the story and others fidgeting in excitement.
Summary
The island of the lizardfolk was under threat from a brutal giant. Kaztora and Toranti knew that the only way to defeat the giant was to unify all of the tribes. Toranti is said to have sung into shape a weapon, an axe, of great beauty and power. She gave this weapon to Kaztora who used it to defeat the tribe leaders and rally the tribes behind him. Different tribes have different endings to the story, in one Kaztora cuts the island in two, separating the giant from them forever, in another he cuts the giant in two and the giant's body falls into the Floor.
