Harani

Long-gone nomadic people.

Written on my smartphone must add header image and links later.
"The Harani used to live in across a large region of Breharan. Their domain strerched from what is now Burim to Central Grara. They traveled throughout the year and had a unique art and culture. There are none of them left now."

A Travelling People

While the modern word harani means 'one who travels' it is derived from the name of the people who bear it. A people who traveled with the seasons and with the animals.

Harani in the Present

Not much is known about the Harani except what has been passed down in stories and a few relics that have been found by scholars. They likely never existed in great numbers and ceased to be during the (Time of Darkness) when their nomadic lifestyle became unviable due to the conditions of that era.   There are two peoples who live similar lifestyles to the Harani in the present. The (Orth) who have been around for a long time and likely met the Harani in the past. However, (Orth) culture is distinct from what is known about the Harani. The other is the (Drifters) who live along the rivers of (Zinato). They embody the motion and ever-changing life of the Harani and even live in a region where they were common. While it is possible that some are descendants of Harani who settled in the region during the (Time of Darkness), they don't try to emulate any peoples of the past, just to live in a way that brings them joy and accomplishment.
