Purpose

This document was written by the second head chef of the Imperial Palace in order to carry the knowledge of the job to future chefs. It has provided knowledge of palace life and recipies to chefs over many years keeping the palace running smoothly.

The book is divided into sections, each section written by one of the head chefs. Each section contains recipies, notes, alterations, thoughts, and more from the chef who wrote it.

Publication Status

This document is unique and the only copy resides in the Imperial Palace. It is available only to the head chef.

Historical Details

Background

Dainon travelled the entire nation of Bral gathering recipient and ingredients. This culinary journey is what brought him to the Imperial Palace as a chef. He wrote this book after his predecessor was exiled for offering the wrong food to the emperor.

History

Each head chef since the authoring of this book has read it and added to it. As time had gone on the tastes of the palace residents have changed. It is not only a cookbook, it provides insight into palace life and acts as a journal.
