The Blight of Wysix.

"Remember to always make an offering to the blight of Wysix when you sow your fields or it will come."

In the Shadow of Death

When the blightbird flies over the fields, every plant that is touched by its shadow withers and dies. There is one person who claimed to have felt its shadow but before anyone could come to investigate, they had died from an unknown illness.
As it flies, it leaves long lines of dead crops and is assumed to live within the Rockward Woods because the lines always start and end at the treeline.

Scholarly Opinion

While these crops dying in strange lines and patterns have been confirmed by scholars, the presence of any strange birds have not. They believe it is more likely that something has gotten into the soil and that the rains wash it along channels in the ground.

Wysix County

Before the establishment of the Yaskwol Manor within the county, there was little of note. Just some fields, some trees, and the superstitious people who lived there.
