Festival of the Transfer of the Regent's Banner
History
- (67) The first time the banners were given was a few days after the The People's Rising took place. They were quickly created a few days after the King was killed.
- (87) This transfer had something unexpected: The newly elected regent of the Nobles died from a heart attack, probably due to his high emotions
- (97) The transfer didn't occur this time due to the War of Doom
- (107) This time around the transfer was not also a celebration of Democracy, but also of winning the War of Doom. The festivities continued for the whole week here.
Execution
- The Banner Transfer occurs always in the morning of the 39th of the first month on the Main Square of the city of Byen Engler
- The banners of the old regents are burned and new ones are given to the new regents after that
- Three days of festivities take place in the subsequent days
Participants
- The old term and the newly elected Representative Regent of Rockvar
- The current leader of the Order of the Eagle is the one responsible to burn and transfer the banners
Observance
Many people of Rockvar travel to Byen Engler on this date to celebrate democracy and the transfer itself. It is always a day of parties and festivities in the country.
