Qualifications

Any Wizard residing in vi'Ishan is potentially qualified to be a Scholar.

Requirements

The Szoryuk are considered to have contributed to the greater arcane lore. This means that every Scholar has either created a new magical formula (as in created a new spell or a means to create some magical creation) or have proven their arcane worth to either a R'roturo or another Scholar.

Appointment

There is no specific appointment. In fact, there have been wizards who have self-appointed and given their magical aptitude, were simply accepted.
