Kusorin (ˈkuɭsoːŋ)

Symptoms

Primary symptoms are vomiting and diarrhea. In both cases, this is a pasty liquid substance that can amount of to 3 or more gallons a day. Without treatment, this can quickly lead to life threatening dehydration.

Secondary symptoms caused by the severe dehydration include pale and bluish skin, dry-mouth, drop in blood pressure, inability to urinate, muscle cramping, seizure, and coma.

Prognosis

Symptoms begin with 3-7 days of infection and can last for quite sometime. Untreated, it results in death in over 50% of cases and can last for months. Treated properly, death rates fall below 10% and the disease runs its course in about a week.
