Orc
During the early centuries of after the Cataclysm, orcs (or the zaːrxt /zaːrxt/) were one of the gravest threats to the return of humanity and civilization. As humans reclaimed the world, clashes with nomadic orc tribes were constant. Sometime in the middle of the third millennia, orcs were in danger of being wiped out. Pushed to the southern edges of what is now Einelund, the orc chieftain Wohrtal /Ħuʔœyrtɛl/ drew the orcs under his banner and marched a final time to the great city of Gelencriel.
As the defenders prepared for a siege, Wohrtal instead called a parley. The leaders of Gelencriel met with the orc and the Gelencriel Covenent was established. Wohrtal would take his armies north, into the mountains between the Aresh-Nördemark and the populated lands to the south, where they remain as the Northern Vanguard.
