After hindering their meeting, the Host shifted tactics, targeting our members with legal maneuvers we couldn’t effectively counter. Taiko’s Bakery was shut down, Harashi’s brother was removed from the hospital, and Yuki’s father, the local chief of police,worked behind the scenes, dispatching officers to hinder us. We consulted Namazu, our past ally who brokered the legal work in exchange for ownership of Taiko’s Bakery, which we reluctantly ceded. Namazu also provided intel on the Koibacks, including a former employee behind the spurious lawsuit. We located and confronted them, only to face reinforcements in black under an officer’s command. After a grueling battle we barely won, the boss fell, relinquishing the stolen deed to Taiko’s Bakery. Though victorious, this feels like just the beginning.
