Kota Iren
If someone stopped you in your first time in Kota Iren and told you that, over a century ago, that Kota Iren was a decaying city, victim to disrepair and chaos, inhabited by feral creatures and ruled by a Mindflayer, they would have laughed. But this was the state of affairs, until the current Leader and Patrician swept in and deposed the Mindflayer.
One Hundred and Six years later, the city is a thriving location, with towering sections crafted from Onyx and dark stone, with one of the few occasions of successful Drow and Human co-existance outside of the Underdark. The Patrician rules from the Obsidian Palace, though it's throne room has been repurposed into a Small Council Meeting ground.
In 1521, folllowing the instability of Kota Puti, the Patrician of Kota Iren marched into Kota Puti and took control. Not a single drop of blood was spilt and the realm accepted it willingly. That once great city has been re-purposed into a functioning offshoot, headed by a democratically elected Mayor, voted for by the one person with the vote - the Patrician. Kota Puti's House of Light has been repurposed into a museum and voting chamber for the Mayor and their council.

The Araneae Sororitas
This all female group are the Militant arm of Kota Iren, and exist to assist the lands and fulfill tasks given by the leader of Kota Iren. Members of The Sororitas tend to be followers of Lolth, but you are not forced to do so. The Sororitas take pride in this though, since many founding members reasoned that if their patron, Kreia was as benevolent as Lolth, they would not have been enslaved by Illithid. They work side by side with The Shadow Legion.

The Shadow Legion Set up in the wake of the revival of power and new control of Kota Iren, Shadow Legion exists in much the same reasoning as The Black Brand, though they are currently less corrupted as some other variations that exist. If people require assistance, The Shadow Legion will be there. Much like Araneae is all female, The Shadow Legion is all male.
