Werewolf Territory
The werewolves control from just north of Washington DC north into New York State and to the east up the coast. This article will focus on their lesser territory, the woods to the west of the city. For the purposes of most stories on the server, that is their main territory, the area where they isolate themselves from all outside influence.
Geography
The wolves' main territory near the city is a massive stretch of forest with large hills (small mountains) surrounding it. The bulk of the area is rugged terrain that is not easily accessed by car. There are numerous trails cut through the woods, most designed to get common humans lost and confused. They'll make it difficult to navigate, easy to get turned around, and otherwise prevented from reaching anywhere of any importance. The design is almost like a puzzle, a maze. If you don't know where to turn, you'll never find your way. At least, not without cutting through dense undergrowth, bushes, leaping small chasms, and so on.
At the edges of the territory, there are various houses, most of them occupied by wolves in the pack, or sitting vacant, waiting for wolves to move in. For all intents and purposes, they look normal. There's nothing special about the houses aside from their location. They vary in design and style, having been built over the past three centuries as the wolves found need for additional housing. There are no houses in the center of the territory.
The center of the territory is a gentle depression with a small lake at its center. Spread throughout the area are various clearings, wide open fields that the pack often runs through while hunting deer. The hills are full of caves, several of them are even stocked with emergency supplies and hidden weapons in the event of an invader attacking them. They come well prepared.
Lastly, there's the safe house. It's an underground home, built straight into the rocks. At first, it appears to be a simple underground home. The main entrance is somewhat hidden, protected by the rockfaces around it, slightly hidden by them. The rear offers a wider expanse of glass to look down into the pack territory. The inside however, is a bit more elaborate. There are multiple floors, hidden blast shutters, and a full on nuclear bunker burried deep under the rest of the safehouse. It's mean to survive a nuclear war.
Tourism
The wolves actively patrol the area and prevent all human entry. Most of the time, they have to deal with hunters ignoring the 'NO TRESPASSING' signs liberally spread through the area. And hunters ignoring the dense terrain. These invaders typically run into a wolf like holden and have a nice, long talk about the meaning of the no trespassing signs. Others have come face to face with Daisy's shotgun, and been taken to the hospital afterwards. Despite her ferocity, she can tell a very compelling story about the bad men who attacked her in her family's woods.
