Trolls

Thick rough hands clasped your shoulders, calloused but nimble. Grey red skin tough as a terrestrial elephant. Narrow eyes rest under thick brows. Thick tusks curving from the bottom lip and tipped with decoration. These are trolls and the rule the waves.

The troll culture sticks to the seas and coasts in the Levis part of the world. While many claim to exist in reaches north of the outer reaches of Natare maps, getting a troll captain to part with those maps is seemingly impossible.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Humanoid silhouette. Ranging between 7 and 9 feet tall. Rough skin, solid brow line, usually stooped posture and thick musculature. Stocky. Tend to easily form symbiosis with sea barnacles or forest mushrooms. Heavy bones.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Tends towards a diet rich in seaweed, reeds and fish with seafood being a delicacy due to digestion issues. Spice and heat also seem to be prevalent in the culture.

Behaviour

Tend to enjoy freedom but also community, setting up groups of like minded individuals wherever they travel, but even their settlements seem to travel. Including a floating town south of the Mangrove forests.

Beauty Ideals

Long tusks exhibit health, as does salt stained hair. A good spattering of barnacles show health though too many should be removed as it describes a lack of self care and/or community.

Common Dress Code

Pearl "rings" looped over tusks or fashioned into tusk caps.
