History
Originating from the home of the Monster the Midnight-One and Belladonna the foliad, their love brought together a small community of monsters from the nearby forests. Under the guidance and care of The-midnight-one, the outpost expanded, drawing in and fusing with the nearby town of Silvermist.
Once the major city of Natare realised the developing town, they quickly sent delegates to both trade and control the nearby town. As generations passed, the township grew becoming a jewel for creature-kin/foliad relations.

Hunting permits
Due to the percentage of carnivorous creature-kin in Brambleberry, the Ministry of nature preservation (which runs predominately out of Natare of course, but claims to be a Levis wide organisation) has developed a hunting permit for those affected. In Levis at large, recreational hunting is seen as a travesty, punishable by imprisonment. These documents grant limited access to designated game reserves where they can hunt specific species in controlled environments under the watchful eye of ecology experts, trackers and guides. These permits can come in many forms, tailored to the carnivore in question and their role in their traditional ecosystem. Examples of such include the "Keeper of the Wild" permit to cull excess animals in any population, or the "Guardian of the Forest" permit designed to allow more aggressive hunters to protect against invasive or destructive species.Cultural exchange program
Due to cultural misconceptions and old world superstitions, Natare city council in conjunction with the Brambleberry mayorhood have developed an exchange program where young Natare residents are brought to stay a week in the township around their 8th year. This mixed with public events showcasing the abilities of some of the creature-kin in the town.
What makes a monster?
Originating from the bloodline of Izdione, the mother of monsters; true monsters exist as a sentient spontanious evolution of the local ecosystem usually holding some traits of their parent species, but being biologically unique from anything else to exist before or after it.
Intelligent, these beings are akin to wild Foliad in nature (except for the occassional canivorous hunger), and as such through time their bloodlines have been found to mingle and form creature-kin - whose traits are a touch more regular and expected within bloodlines.
