While watered down over the years, this title was first held by the original Guardian of Brambleberry, the Midnight-One.

This role is not to be confused with the "Guardian of the Forest" hunting permit, but seeps into an deeper agreement between creature-kin and supernatural laws of the forests of Levis.

Unlike rules enacted by foliads seeking control, this role can have limited holders at once. It signs a contract with universe that says 'it is my life's work to ensure the dark secrets are left unexplored, that people do not expand across the face of Levis like a locust swarm, and that no acts of extreme destruction happen on my watch'.

In the modern day, the sheer scope of such a role means that many Guardians have been roving in nature, living lives that are shorter but burn brighter. The universe considered bestowing the title on the hunter Thane

Requirements

Generally no base foliad. Must have 3 acts which attempt to protect nature or another.

Appointment is by supernatural vision, vague enough that many have believed that this was just a bou of mild insanity.
