Ebin D'Arkstar

One of the ancient thinkers in Levis, whose works have been transcribed from parchment to Binding, though an estimated thousand works still float around places like the archives of Saburra

Focussing on early Celestial Mathematics as well as physics and early botany, D'Arkstar was most widely known for their work into philosophy and the act of one as a member of a community.

While earlier philosophers had focussed on the self and the act of actualisation through the individual as a member of importance, D'arkstar theorised that from an ecological standpoint that the individual had worth compared to the hive or nest an individual was a part of. As a member of one of the larger cities within Levis, successor scholars have theorised that he meant less a person within a city, and more a person's place within a family group or a local community.

Certainly D'Arkstar's work in trying to establish representative councils within the larger cities does support this, although in practice his methods failed so spectacularly that Ebin was eventually Exiled for the supposed coup he was attempting to radicalise.

History is lost about his whereabouts once he passed east of Solaris.
