Exile

Certain things in Levis are too horrendous to be a part of society, and as such, must be removed from society. Long term jailing is not a concept the people of Levis are ok with, and while some of the 'wilder' settlements might settle on a quick execution for some things like murder, the ultimate punishment is often seen as Exile.

With the Hunter cades patrolling Levis at large, the offenders in need of exile are detained for the brief amount of time until a hunter can make it to the city, or town, where the Exile branded upon the face with a large mark that covers near half their face, before the hunter takes the still healing Exile either to the far north or far south of the continent, forcing them either into the turbulent waters that flow away from the society or to the path that leads through the southern mountain range, forcing them to follow the path out of acceptable society.
