Surinese
The humans of Surinor came to this island long ago. Their ships wrecking upon the shores and if it weren't for the aid of a great dragon they would have perished long ago.
They are a people of trade and industry mixing with various cultures who come to their home island looking for rare silks and fine foods.
The Surinese are also famous for unique fighting styles which are rare in other parts of the world.

- Graceful Styles You may choose one weapon to grant the finesse property provided it does not have the heavy property already. You also gain proficiency in this weapon.
- Dignified Manners You gain proficiency in the persuasion skill.
- Great Parry Once per long rest when an attack would hit you, you may use your reaction to grant yourself +5 to your AC until the start of your next turn. If the incomming attack would not hit your new AC then it misses.
- The Dragon's Will Surinese are strongly tied with draconic beings. As such they gain a resistance to one of the classic elements of their choice, Lightning, Acid, Cold or Fire. Additionally they are immune to a dragons "Fearful Presence".
- Sea-cursed You get sea-sick very easily. While at sea you have 1 permanent level of exhaustion that cannot be removed until you take a long rest on solid land.
